Join Us in Singapore for the 2020 Asian Advanced Course

Thanks to a successful launch course in India in 2019 and backed by popular demand, we are excited to announce the return of the FOCIS Asian Advanced Course in Basic and Clinical Immunology to Southeast Asia in 2020.

The popular FOCIS Asian Advanced Course is a unique opportunity to learn the latest developments in immunology and to engage with renowned faculty. Eight leading immunologists cover major topics in cellular and molecular immunology. The course featured three days of lectures and evening poster presentations.

Please plan to join us for a packed and innovative schedule of topics, with some unique teaching formats that will showcase the most relevant problems in human translational immunology.

Abstract submissions are accepted in a wide range of topics across immunology. Accepted abstracts will be scheduled into the evening poster session. Submit your abstract through the online submission site beginning in January 2020. Notifications of abstract acceptance will be sent by email by April 15, 2020.

Our most popular course covers the major topics in cellular and molecular immunology, including innate immunity, B cells, T cells, dendritic cells, cytokines, and mucosal immunity. Other lectures cover autoimmune, allergic and immunodeficiency diseases, as well as new advances in interventional and clinical immunology and the molecular and genetic basis of immunologically-mediated diseases.

In keeping with FOCIS’s track record of teaching innovation, the Southeast Asian Advanced Course features additional sessions focused on major therapeutic dilemmas related to translational immunology in subspecialty areas of medicine, in addition to the usual rich content in basic and translational immunology topics offered at all FOCIS courses.
