January 9-12, 2024

Tsinghua University Campus
Room B323, Zheng B323, Zheng Yutong Medical Sciences Building, Beijing, China

General Information

Overview

Join us to learn basic and translational immunology topics from a faculty of global experts.

Target Audience

This course is designed for:

  • Clinical fellows in disciplines related to immunology, including autoimmunity, allergy, infectious disease, oncology, primary immunodeficiency, and transplantation
  • Postdoctoral fellows doing basic or translational research with an emphasis on human disease
  • Scientists or other research and development personnel from biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies who are involved in developing new therapies for immunological disease
  • Academic or community physicians who wish to enhance their understanding of immunology

Learning Objectives

After the course, attendees will be able to:

  • Discuss the fundamental mechanisms underlying protective immune responses and discuss the recent advances and emerging themes in immunology research.
  • Describe the fundamental mechanisms underlying immunologic disease and associate these mechanisms with strategies for therapeutic modulation of the immune system.
  • Appreciate the basic immunological principles underlying biotherapeutics and emerging opportunities for immune-regulated diseases.
  • Analyze the medical literature reporting immunologic advances pertinent to their patients, cite the rationale for use of new immunodiagnostic and immunotherapeutic modalities in their patients, and serve as thought leaders within their medical communities.

Registration

The course is open to a limited number of live registrants, and is also available on demand. On demand registrants will have access to the course materials beginning on January 10, 2024, and will have access for 60 days after the conclusion of the event (March 12, 2024).
