The FOCIS 2026 hotel is the San Francisco Marriott Marquis and is the official and only FOCIS-endorsed means to book accommodations is through the link shown above.
Importantly, FOCIS does not outsource its hotel accommodations reservations. Companies or individuals are sending phishing emails to some FOCIS members and FOCIS Annual Meeting attendees claiming to be able to book their accommodations. This is a common – albeit unwanted – occurrence for conferences and trade shows.
To clarify, no third party company is authorized to arrange hotel accommodations for our events, nor is FOCIS in any way generating these messages.

San Francisco is served by two major airports: San Francisco International (SFO) and Oakland International (OAK). Both offer convenient options to reach the hotel:

BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit): From SFO or OAK, take BART directly to the 4th & Market Station, just one block from the hotel entrance. Travel time is typically 20–35 minutes from SFO and 35–45 minutes from OAK.

Rideshares & Taxis: Uber, Lyft, Waymo, and traditional taxis are readily available at both airports for a direct trip to the hotel.

Shuttles & Private Cars: Many shuttle services and private car companies operate between the airports and downtown hotels. Advance reservations are recommended.

MUNI (San Francisco Municipal Railway): The hotel is centrally located near MUNI buses and light rail lines, making it easy to navigate the city once you arrive.
