Join Us in San Francisco

The FOCIS Annual Meeting is THE meeting in translational immunology that will give you a competitive edge in your career. Stay ahead of the curve with leading clinicians and researchers delivering the latest breakthroughs across immune-mediated diseases. Focusing on molecular pathways and their implications in human disease provides the unique opportunity for innovative thinking and applying ideas from the pathologies of other diseases to uncover novel solutions to challenges in the diseases you study.

Through the FOCIS Annual Meeting, researchers and clinicians share knowledge across traditional disease borders and identify commonalities between treatments and therapies that are life-changing for those affected by immune-mediated diseases. From the introduction of monoclonal antibodies in clinical practice to recent advances in cancer immunotherapy, the past more than two decades have been transformational for patients living with immune-mediated diseases.

Join us for the FOCIS Annual Meeting in person, June 9–12, 2026, at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis! Registration and hotel booking are now open.

Registration

 Online registration is now open!

Annual meeting registration includes more than 20 scientific sessions featuring top clinicians and researchers from around the globe, speaking on cutting-edge topics across immunology and its related fields.

Member Society Symposium

FOCIS invites your society to apply to host a symposium at the FOCIS Annual Meeting. Hosting a symposium allows you to showcase your society, research, and current initiatives.

The Member Society Symposia are scheduled differently than in previous years. Due to interest from Member Societies, the MSS is being integrated into the full program to allow for more attendance and less competition.

Why Host a MS Symposium?

  • Showcase your Society – FOCIS provides this opportunity to allow our Member Societies to be a part of the FOCIS 2026 Annual Meeting program.
  • Complimentary Meeting Space – FOCIS will provide complimentary meeting space, standard audio/visual equipment, one coffee break, and pre-event advertising
  • Choose Your Duration – Session lengths range from 1.75 hours up to 3 hours to allow for integration in the program.
  • Collaboration Opportunity – Collaborate with one or more societies for a joint symposium and examine immunology from multiple angles in one cohesive session

Keep in mind space is limited. We strongly encourage you to apply early. Preference will be given to symposia co-hosted by two or more societies.

Submissions are currently closed for 2026.

Important Dates and Deadlines

  • Application Deadline: Friday, October 17, 2025
  • Acceptance Notification: Early-November, 2025
  • Final Agenda Submission Deadline: Friday, January 23, 2026
  • Speaker Registration Deadline: Friday, April 3, 2026
  • Member Society Symposia at FOCIS 2025: June 9-12, 2026

Logistics

Member Societies host and coordinate their own symposium. Keep in mind that FOCIS does not coordinate speaker slide collection nor run the slides. All symposium chairs and speakers should be prepared to coordinate speaker slides. There will be a dedicated A/V tech that can assist with any issues/questions, as well as FOCIS staff on-hand for additional assistance.

Complimentary meeting space is provided, along with audio visual equipment (laptop, projector and screen, slide advancer, lectern mic), and one coffee break (coffee, decaf, tea) in the shared hallway outside your room.

Speaker Registration

All Member Society symposia speakers need to register for the meeting and make their own travel and accommodation arrangements. Speakers must be registered for FOCIS 2026 by Friday, April 3, 2026.

Up to 2 speakers per hour of your Member Society Symposium are eligible for a 50% reimbursement of their registration if they stay for the duration of the meeting and complete the attendee evaluation available after the event. Any additional speakers will not be eligible for 50% reimbursement from FOCIS. Each Member Society is responsible for sharing these details when inviting speakers. FOCIS is not responsible for any travel reimbursements.
