The FOCIS 2025 Annual Meeting has concluded

**FOCIS Annual Meeting Guest Policy

The guest registration rate includes access to all social events, such as exhibit and poster hall receptions and scheduled coffee breaks. Please note that this rate does not include access to scientific sessions or a certificate of attendance. Guest registration is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age and are accompanying a registered attendee in a non-professional, non-healthcare, non-college, and non-business-related capacity. This rate is limited to personal guests and is not available to abstract presenters, who are required to register for the full meeting.

Group Registration

Group registration is available! Do you have a working group or organization that would like to register for FOCIS 2025? Take advantage of our group discount!

Registration fees are reduced by $50 for individuals registering with a group. The first group member (“Group Leader”) must register themselves online at the individual, full-price rate. Once registered, please fill out this form to receive your organization’s unique group discount code.

Eligible Group Criteria:

Three (3) or more members of the same organization or working group
The Group Leader must have a full-price paid registration

Group invoices are available upon request and must be paid in advance of the meeting.

Official Italian Agency for AIFA Procedure

Any Italian pharmaceutical company supporting or participating in a congress abroad is subjected to authorization by AIFA (Italian Medicines Agency), according to an Italian Government Decree (Decreto Legislativo 219/06 – art. 124).

The request for authorization must be submitted within 60 days before the starting date of the event. The appointed agency to collect all applications from pharmaceutical companies and file them with the AIFA is:

Certificate of Attendance

All paid attendees are eligible to receive a certificate of attendance. When invited to fill out the online evaluation form, there is a section in which a certificate can be requested.

Travel Award Opportunities

Travel Award for Oral Abstract Presenters

Eligibility: These travel awards are available to FOCIS members only who submit an abstract and are chosen for oral presentation at FOCIS 2025.

Application: There is no additional application or announcement for a travel award; you will be automatically considered if your abstract is accepted for presentation. We encourage you to join FOCIS and submit an abstract (saving the $30 submission fee).

Benefits: The number of awards is based upon several factors including geographic location, placement of abstract within the FOCIS program and funds available. This award cannot be combined with any other FOCIS 2025 travel awards.

FOCIS is pleased to offer a variety of travel award opportunities.

Recipients of a FOCIS travel award receive up to $500 for North American speakers and up to $750 for international speakers (unless otherwise stated below) for reimbursement of FOCIS 2025 Annual Meeting-related travel, hotel, and meals.

Cancellation Policy

Refund of registration fees, less a $30 administrative fee, may be applied for, in writing, prior to June 1, 2025. After this date, no refunds will be made.

A $30 administrative fee will be assessed for registration transfers requested, in writing, prior to June 1, 2025. After this date, no transfers will be made.

Refunds requested more than 90 days after payment has been processed will be made via check payment only.

Registration List-Sharing Policy

FOCIS does not share its registration list. Companies or individuals are sending phishing emails to some FOCIS members and FOCIS 2025 Annual Meeting attendees claiming to offer our attendee lists. This is a common – albeit unwanted – occurrence for conferences and trade shows. No third party company is authorized to distribute or sell any email lists from our events, nor is FOCIS providing these lists or generating these messages.

If you receive an email offering to sell you a list of FOCIS 2025 Annual Meeting attendees, do not respond to it. By responding–even with a request to unsubscribe–you confirm that your email address is a valid one, which may increase the likelihood that you’ll be contacted again.
