Importantly, FOCIS does not outsource its hotel accommodations reservations. Companies or individuals are sending phishing emails to some FOCIS members and FOCIS 2025 Annual Meeting attendees claiming to be able to book their accommodations. This is a common – albeit unwanted – occurrence for conferences and trade shows.

To clarify, no third party company is authorized to arrange hotel accommodations for our events, nor is FOCIS in any way generating these messages.
