The C. Garrison Fathman Fellows Fund empowers trainees and fellows to attend FOCIS annual meetings, participate in educational courses, and engage in exchange programs.
FOCIS began in 2003, when Dr. C. Garrison Fathman and Dr. David Hafler founded the organization to improve human health through immunology. Initially launched as an annual meeting for researchers and clinicians to share knowledge and ideas, FOCIS has since evolved into a robust federation offering year-round education in translational immunology. Today, our flagship annual meeting takes place every summer, while our live courses are held at various locations throughout the year, you can also attend the Research & Education Virtual Symposia online throughout the year. Furthermore, FOCIS Centers of Excellence located at academic medical centers worldwide, accelerate innovation in both research and clinical practice.
